Thank you Vana Belle Resort for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
One of many fun things to do in Thailand is enjoying good food right by the beach. Many beachfront restaurants, however, are located in overcrowded settings with too many people and too many things going on right around the restaurant to truly appreciate the serenity and the calmness of the ocean. So, if you’re looking to experience a relaxing lunch (or dinner) in a secluded beachfront setting with more privacy, look no further than Panali Restaurant at Vana Belle Resort in Koh Samui, Thailand.
If you are ever on Koh Samui Island in Thailand, what could be better than enjoying a perfect lunch (or dinner) surrounded by perfect landscaping and lush greenery, without crowds, while overlooking the Gulf of Thailand to a rhythmic sound of waves hitting the beach? Then, prepare to be impressed by Panali Restaurant that serves Italian, Thai, and International cuisine right above the beach. This cute turtle sculpture is next to the restaurant, and the little walkway leads right to the beachfront:
You can be seated on the open-air terrace:
with unobstructed views of the Gulf of Thailand:
Or, be seated in a covered dining area:
Panali Restaurant being part of Vana Belle Resort is very popular among its guests and other tourists for lunch or dinner. I stayed at Vana Belle Resort during my recent visit to Thailand, and always had an amazing beachfront dining experience at Panali. Vana Belle’s staff is always attentive and highly professional, the food is top notch quality, and you can’t beat the views!
Below are the photos of some of my favorite dishes from Panali.
Their Rocket and Prawn Salad with cherry tomatoes, Parmesan cheese and balsamic dressing is fresh, healthy, and delicious!
I love soups, and the Roasted Pumpkin Soup with Pumpkin Seeds is amazing and is a great healthy choice!
Another delicious appetizer is Mushroom Soup with Truffle Oil and Quail Egg:
Great salad to try – a Blue Cheese, Walnut, & Bacon Salad with Apples:
The restaurant offers a good selection of sandwiches, several main courses with meat and fish, a selection of classic Italian pasta, as well as quite a few choices of pizza.
The also offer homemade pasta. Like this Pappardelle sauteed with Italian Sausage, Fresh Rosemary, and Creamy Sauce. Delicious!
Or, try this homemade pasta – Classic Oven Baked Beef Lasagna served with Side Salad and Garlic Bread:
Another selection from their homemade pasta menu – Gratinated Gnocchi in a rich Four Cheese Sauce. So good!
I also wanted to try one of their seafood main dishes, and this Pan-Seared Baramundi with Broccoletti and Roasted Herb Potatoes was fresh and really good!
They have quite a few pizza selections, and you can’t miss this Seafood Pizza with Squid, Mussels, and Prawn:
And don’t forget the drinks! They have a great cocktail menu!
For dessert, I tried one of their homemade ice creams – Pistachio Ice Cream. Outstanding flavor!
I love meringue, and I loved their Fruit Fool, which is done in a local tradition, using local ingredients, such as meringue with Mango and Lemon sorbet:
To sum up, the Panali Restaurant offers an exceptional beachfront dining experience and is perfect for lunch or dinner. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and they make you feel really special. The food is top notch quality, the landscaping is gorgeous, and you can’t beat the views!
At any time during your lunch or dinner, you can take just a few steps away from the restaurant and see the beautiful Gulf of Thailand, without crowds. Perfect lunch/dinner spot!
